times.... :) As am I... so it's all good... You know, I WAS able to hear more noise from the turbos, but here is my confusion explanation of that: Say it "normally" takes about 3700RPM to get to full boost in, say 4th gear. At 3700RPM, the car is kind of loud, so it is harder to hear the turbos. Now, enter better downpipes. Now you get to full boost at say, 3100RPM, so the car is relatively quieter because you are lower in the RPM band.. you should be able to hear the turbos more easily because, all other things held constant, you are at lower RPM. That I DO hear, especially at night. But he said it's not a turbo-like whistle, which mine def'ly is... You owe me two cents...
